He's back! Once again, Fast Eddy has granted us the privilege of showing off his talents here on Elite Streets Mag and as always he hasn't ceased to amaze us with his awesome custom auto renderings. I was talking to Ed on the phone in August and he was very pleased with his coverage, so Ed has put ESM on his "cool list" and Ed's work will be on ESM from time to time. Hey, no problem here, Ed's work is awesome, so we say more power to our ink laying friend!

For those of you that did not catch the last issue of ESM (April-June 2004), we featured several renderings of Ed's work. The low down on Ed and how he got into his current profession can be traced back to his childhood. Growing up with a family that owned classic cars such as Chevelles and GTOs, you can see why Ed has much respect for our four wheeled friends! In 1998 Ed hooked up with SRC Motorsports in Houston and became a professional hot-rod designer. Since that time, you name it and more than likely Ed has probably inked it out on paper!

If you wish to have your project built on paper before beginning to turn wrenches and drop cash, you can contact Ed at: 281.455.2883. To catch a glimpse of more examples of Ed's work, go to www.fehrarules.com. Be sure to tell Ed that ESM sent ya!

Click here to enlarge! The 1964 "Death Machine" you see pictured here is just in time for all of you Halloween fans out there! The roof has been shortened to create an El Camino cab. It rides on air suspension and 20" wheels personally designed by Ed in 1983. The tube grille and NASCAR style high beam exclusion makes the face evil in appearance. The trunk lid is cut then welded to the center section of the bumper to create a tailgate. Note the added barbs on the quarter-panels and hood. Those are to impale anyone who gets away from the bed full of scary stuff which include: a telescopic gallow, guillotine, and chopping block with axe. For those who make a run for it, Ed has mounted .50 caliber machine gun on the roof for the executioner to mow down the cowards! Finishing off this Halloween cruiser is a flat black paint job with blood stains and an anger bit to keep the creep factor in full swing.

This 1953 Caddy "Coupe D'evil" is actually a Cadillac Fleetwood 2-door with an "El Camino" roof treatment and a very Transylvania-like hearse rear section, circa 1700. the grille is totally re-worked to actually have teeth. An orange neon strip is behind the horizontal bar. three exhaust pipes exit the fenders and two exit the rear bumper. this ride is definitely for Halloween fans that want the Impaler... er... we mean "Impala Experience".
Click here to enlarge! Grab your board, because surfs up with this one-of-a-kind ride... dude! This 1954 Woody is a 100% Fast Eddy idea (except for the 1954 Chevy front clip). Much like the 1966 Chevy truck featured in the last issue of ESM (April-June 2004), this too has been chopped, channeled, and sectioned. The wheels are also a Fast Eddy original design as well as the custom paint color! The paint consists of candy blue with a heavy purple pearl. The wood is actually painted on, so this ride is an all steel body.
Click here to enlarge! This 1960 Cadillac is truly a sweet custom concept! This Caddy has BMW headlights, a billet grille, 20" Smoothie Wheels (Boyds), air ride suspension, and a wicked two-tone orange paint job that would make a University of Tennessee fan flinch! The rear of this land yacht consists of a billet grille and the taillights have been converted over to LEDs.
Click here to enlarge! This 1969 Ford truck is exactly as the 1966 Chevy featured in the last issue of ESM (April-June 2004). To start things off, Ed chops the doors forward. The top and doors have been totally re-sculpted. You will notice the doors now share a contemporary Ford truck style with the slanted cut out in the door. In the rear, a subtle spoiler is used to continue the sporty appearance. A 1969 rocker panel/wheel well treatment much like contemporary Ford truck styling. The wheels are also a Fast Eddy original.

Finally, we have to mention our personal favorite.. the 2004 Dodge Magnum (see the large image at the top of this page). Originally, Ed said it was going to be his next ride, until he found out it did not have much more room than his GTO. The magnum you see here wears the stock paint with a red pearl sprayed on top of it (to make it RED) with real flames painted on top to "fire" things up! The car... er... suv... or what ever you want to call it, is lowered over 20" Boyd Coddington Magneatos. In true hot rod fashion, those pesky door handles have been shaved clean and the Hemi has been breathed on.
