The two-day Southern Showdown V auto show, hosted by Cool Cars of Louisville, was held at the Bullit County Fairgrounds in Louisville, Kentucky. This show is in its fifth year now and the ESM crew made sure to cover it! There were plenty of custom autos on hand (we counted 500+) from reflector collecting low-riders to sky scrapin' 4x4s. No doubt the fairgrounds was a haven for custom auto enthusiasts. There was a lot to see and do during the two-day event, with plenty of vendors on hand who were more than happy to discuss their products. There was also a live DJ on hand spinning tunes, plenty of food to eat, two bikini contests, hydraulics contest, stereo competition, and much more! Thanks largely to the efforts of Bryan Gillespie and the Cool Cars crew, the Southern Showdown series has become a big show in the Louisville area. After attending the show, ESM can see why! In fact, we had such a good time that ESM is looking forward to attending Southern Showdown VI. Until then... |
