Ed White (a.k.a. Fast Eddy), is a regular feature here at Elite Streets Magazine and he always seems to impress us with his radical renderings. Ed always uses an array of crazy options, wild wheels, and colorful paint concepts that wow even the biggest names in the industry. The 4-1-1 on the "Ed-ster" is that he has been drawing for as long as he can remember. Ed once told ESM that he can't remember a time when he wasn't doodling some sort of picture on a former tree. Needless to say, all of that doodling over the years paid off and now Fast Eddy is one of the most well known auto artists around. Ed really knows his stuff especially when it comes to objects that are engine powered!
As always, we were impressed with Ed's latest artistic renderings and we encourage our readers to contact Ed and give him the thumbs up, otherwise Ed might forget to submit some of his work to ESM! Also, if you are in the middle of a project or just starting one, Ed can help you make your dreams a reality by laying it out on paper long before you start bangin' away at body panels and turning those wrenches. All you have to do is dial: 281.455.2883. Ed is Texas friendly and just like the state in which he resides, has big ideas. Also, keep in mind that Ed can paint the real deal, too! If you want a wicked paint job on your ride, Ed can get the party started for you, provided you have enough greenbacks to cover his time spent. To catch a glimpse of more examples of Ed's work, go to www.fehrarules.com. Oh yeah, be sure to tell Ed that ESM sent ya! |

This is the Camaro SS. Consider the concept as the base model. This would be between the base and the SS/RS. Hardtop only, the nose is a little cleaner, and the quarters are smooth, and it's available with a vinyl top that matches the stripe/interior combination. The SS hood has chrome air vents that supply the engine with air. It also sports 19-inch "Rally" wheels and more than likely would be powered by the 5.3 with an optional 5.7. |

Yes, it's a "Black Trans Am" (say it like Buford T. Justice) with fire colored graphics, similar to the 1970 model. Power comes from the required LS-7, 6-spd. The wheels came from a T/A Fast Eddy designed last year. Obviously, there's a resemblance to the 1969 in the grille, spoiler, tail end, and heat extractors. (If you squint a bit at the rear view, the fender vents look like the Buckaroo "B"). It has exhaust splitters, blue-black tinted glass and the "Bats" on the quarters are actually new Firebird emblem marker lights. Time for a re-make of the classic Smokey & The Bandit! |

The is the Maraschino. This all new design is actually the "female" companion to the Purple Star in the April-June 2006 issue of ESM. Fast Eddy had a late Vette in mind when he designed the wheels, but recommends a V-10 Viper engine, six speed tranny, and suspension. The headlamps are Mini Cooper and the taillights are LEDs. The interior is a combination of leather and suede. The body is smooth, the grille is frame-less, and the side trim seems to barely hang on, pulling the grille bars back. In the rear, chrome sticks out under the "collar". Speed lines rest on the fenders and the car is painted cherry red. |

This rendering is a variation of AAT's Commemorative 1953 Vette body kit for the C-5s. It is designed to be the new version Waldorf Nomad. The front end consists of standard AAT parts. The rear end consists of the roof and quarters, which are extended 3-inches behind the wheels because it looked funny with unmolested AAT quarters. The rear glass rolls down and the gate opens to reveal limited cargo space. It is still a Vette... but with a unique twist! |

This is the Amphicar. Fast Eddy always had a thing for Amphi's, but thought they were kinda too boat-ish. In this design Ed thought about a cigarette boat version and after many failed attempts, it came to him right before he went "beddy bye" one night at Casa-De-Edward. Ed thought of a 1968 Vette rendering he did for a guy a while back and thought "that's it!". So, it sort of looks like a Vette, but the nose is up instead of down. It is powered by an aluminum version of the Cadillac Northstar, complete with transmission located in the rear. Instead of twin propellers, it has a jet similar to a jet ski, complete with directional control behind the license plate. In water mode, the suspension pulls the wheels up into the body. It has an adjustable torsion bar setup that can retract the gear like an airplane. |
| Last, but certainly not least the rendering at the top of this web page is the Sunspot. Fast Eddy designed the Sunspot to be like the AC Cobra. It has an LS-2, 6-speed tranny, and the wheels are 20-inches designed after the 1960s GTO Rally II wheels. The side pipes have integrated cats, but no mufflers. Body mods include removal of the grille, the driving lights have been removed and are now brake cooling ducts, the side vents are stretched, wind wings were added to the A-pillars, along with a roll bar and spoilers. The rear spoiler goes coast to coast with the ends being clear, so as to not cover the taillights. Slick, huh. The paint was inspired by Fast Eddys new Corona T-shirt. |
