Elite Streets Magazine Presents - Fast Eddy's Hot Rod Art!

Ed White (a.k.a. Fast Eddy), is a regular feature here at Elite Streets Magazine and seems to impress us with his radical renderings. Ed always uses an array of crazy options, wild wheels, and colorful paint concepts that wow even the biggest names in the industry. The 4-1-1 on Fast Eddy is that he has been drawing since Moses wore short pants. Obviously his talent has paid off for Ed is now one of the most sought after automotive artists in the industry.

As always, we encourage our readers to contact him if you need some foresight by having your project come to life on paper first (always helps to keep things rolling along... YOU KNOW!). All you have to do is dial: 281.455.2883. Ed is Texas friendly and just like the state in which he resides, has big ideas. Also, keep in mind that Ed can paint the real deal, too! If you want a wicked paint job on your ride, Ed can get it done for you. To catch a glimpse of more examples of Ed's work, go to www.fehrarules.com. Oh yeah, be sure to tell him that ESM sent ya!

Sargent Sunburn

This car is called Sargent Sunburn. Ed had a 1940 Ford on the mind when he drew this car. Ed simply wanted clean, flowing lines and, of course, build-ability in a new car. It has a split rear glass and chevron taillights, it's a hardtop, two seater with some room behind the seats, V8, and Ed broke some rules regarding the exhaust by having it exit above the rocker line to keep the bottom flat with the ground and still be able to enjoy looking at it. The name of this vehicle stems from the war time design and the fact that Ed was going to paint it navy blue or olive drab. Ed literally swapped pens at the last minute to see it in yellow with some Gene Winfield style fades and Ed's wife (Melinda) said it looked like it had a sunburn.

Pontiac GTO 6-4

This car is one of Ed's new GTO concepts. Anyone who knows Ed knows that he is a true GTO fanatic, so if the General is seeking new designs, Ed has them suited up and ready for production. This GTO represents the first of two designs of the original car, only sleeked out to optimize the compromise between style and functionality. Ed has named this car the "6-4 GTO" for the first new generation of GTOs that actually look like GTOs. Obviously of the 1964 persuasion, it sports 20-inch Rally II style wheels, twin hood scoops, and lay-down lighting.

1987 Chevy Pickup

This "square bodied" Chevy is 1987 model. The truck consists of a Suburban nose with a billet grille and a shaved bumper. The rest of the body is shaved, too, including the antenna, cowl, drip rails... everything! It has a smooth bed cover, molded roll pan/tailgate skin with an LED light strip. It's lowered 4/5 to keep some rake and rides on 22-inch MHT wheels. Ed's paint scheme consists of tangelo and lime, separated by airbrushed chrome filled with passion purple and cherry red.

The Habonero

The Habanero. What can we say? It's hotter than a Cayenne and that's what we have here. Ed did his homework and checked out those widebody 911s from the early 90s and found this real bad ass looking one in all white, so Ed just had to lay down some ink! Ed has converted the body kit to fit the Cayenne with some updates, lowered it on some FEHRA wheels and shredded a two tone over it. Oh, the headlights came directly from the new Boxter and yes the fender is pulled out from the door to let the heat out. Awesome!
