BedRug

Pickup trucks continue to be among the fastest-growing segments of the new vehicle market. And whether it's a new or pre-owned vehicle, consumers are interested in keeping their investment looking its best. Protecting the cargo area of a pickup truck is likely a major concern that ranks right along with exterior and mechanical maintenance.

BedRugŪ is a custom fit bedliner that allows consumers to use their pickup bed in a number of ways: its foam-bottom conforms to the ribs in the bed, making it ideal for sleeping on camping trips; a 4-wheeler can be taken through muddy conditions and the BedRugŪ can be hosed clean when you get home; you can put golf clubs, hunting equipment and rifles, pets, flower pots, antiques, groceries or any delicate cargo in your BedRugŪ.

BedRugŪ can readily withstand almost anything thrown at it, including oil, grease, tools, chemicals, acids or wood. No matter what you haul in your truck bed, with BedRugŪ it all literally washes away with a hose or pressure washer. The molding process uses heat and pressure to permanently form the sidewalls so they conform identically to the truck's walls, and a hinged tailgate area ensures that the bed area is completely covered. The floor also is molded to perfectly match the floor rib pattern of each make and model truck, for a smooth surface that's not only easy on the knees, but makes for a great sleeping surface for camping, hunting or fishing trips, as well.

Unlike hard plastic drop-in liners, which can trap water between the liner and the bed, BedRugŪ's foam backing will not scratch or damage the paint, and thanks to the closed-cell construction of the foam and the non-porous structure of the polypropylene fiber, neither absorbs moisture. That means your bed is completely protected from rust, even if you don't have a tonneau cover. Plus, a BedRugŪ won't crack like plastic liners can.

Spray-on liners may protect the paint finish, but they do nothing to pad, protect or keep your cargo from sliding around. Why spend money to put another coat of paint on your bed when there really is a better option that will protect it, offer utility, and look good at the same time?

The BedRugŪ bedliner installs in minutes using hook and loop fasteners. Since no drilling is required, adding a BedRugŪ won't violate any manufacturer's warranties. BedRugŪ is UPS shippable, is easily removed for cleaning, and is backed by a complete customer satisfaction warranty. For more information, visit: www.bedrug.com.

Step 1A: Prepare the truck bed.
Begin by removing the truck’s original hard plastic bedliner.
Step 1B: Prepare the truck bed.
Remove all tie-down brackets from the truck bed.
Step 2A: Clean the truck bed.
Thoroughly clean the truck bed with soap and water to remove all dirt and debris. Always use a lint-free cloth when cleaning the truck bed.
Step 2B: Clean the truck bed.
When completely dry, cleanse the bed surface again with a mild non-petroleum based solvent to remove oils and residue. Clean the truck bed yet again with alcohol to promote the best adhesion of the BedRugŪ hook and loop fastening system.
Step 3A: Prepare the BedRug.
Remove the BedRug®floor and siderug sections from the box. Lay sections on the ground in direct sunlight to help them retain their original shape.
Step 3B: Prepare the BedRug.
Zip floor and siderug sections together to form the one-piece BedRugŪ. Continuously pull outwards and upwards on the zipper when fastening the sections together to avoid snagging BedRugŪ plastic fiber surface in the zipper track.
Step 4: Test fit the BedRug.
Place the assembled one-piece BedRugŪin the truck bed to determine its exact location and fit.
Step 5: Locate tie tie-down points.
Locate all tie-down points and create a small hole in the BedRugŪ using a punch tool or small knife. Never cut or put slits through any seams or sewn areas of the BedRugŪ. This can cause the seam to come completely apart.
Step 6A: Attaching the floor section.
Roll up one side of the BedRugŪ to expose the floor area and attach the 3'strip of hook fastener to the loops sewn into the BedRugŪ.
Step 6B: Attaching the floor section.
Remove the protective backing of the hook fasteners to expose the adhesive. The truck bed surface should be 68°F or higher for the hook fastener to achieve maximum adhesion. Never contaminate the adhesive by touching it with your hand.
Step 6C: Attaching the floor section.
Repeat the previous two steps for the opposite side of the floor section. Attach floor section to the truck bed and push down firmly on the adhesive strips.
Step 7: Attaching the bulkhead.
Attach the hoop fasteners to the bulkhead section and attach it to the truck bed.
Step 8: Attaching the siderugs.
Attach the hoop fasteners to the siderug sections and attach them to the truck bed.
Step 9: Attaching the tailgate section.
Attach the hoop fasteners to the tailgate section and attach it to the truck bed.
Step 10: Reattach the tie tie-downs.
Locate the previously made holes in the BedRugŪ and reattach the tie-down brackets.
Step 11: Final fit.
When satisfied with the final fit, go back and push down firmly and aggressively on all adhesive points to ensure a strong hold.
