Hot Import Nights (HIN) Nightshift tour stop in Nashville, Tennessee, really turned out to be an action packed event filled with hot rides and even even hotter models, making this HIN tour stop a good one! Nightshift Nashville had a lot to offer. NOS Energy Drinks Drifting, XDL street bike stunts, Boost Mobile Freestyle Moto-X, a live concert by Delbert McClinton and, of course, the car show and models to top it all off.
The overall turnout was great with thousands of people making their way to the Music City Motorplex to partake in the evening events. There were hundreds of custom cars featured in the show ranging from domestic muscle cars to turbo charged imports. Valvoline even brought their mobile Dyno out to the show. With numbers like 718 hp from a Toyota Supra and 550 hp from a Honda Civic, just to name a few, rides at this event definitely weren't just all show and no go!
The FMX bike jumpers and XDL stunt bikers put on a great show, too. Between the Freestyle Moto-x and the insane wheelies by the XDL riders, the crowd was well entertained by their death defying feats. However, the drifting is really what got the crowd on their feet for the motorsports part of the show. The drivers really pushed their cars to the limits coming only inches away from the walls. Unfortunately, things did not go to well for one driver who hit a wall on the track during practice runs at approximately 90 mph! The driver was rushed to the ER with a fractured arm, but before the night came to a close, he returned to hang out, tell his story, and enjoy the rest of the show.
The models also got the crowd excited, too! The beauty of these girls did not disappoint. They were available all night to take photos and sign autographs with fans and they finished off the night with the Search for Miss HIN 2009 contest, which everyone seemed to enjoy.
