Goodguys 4th Nashville Nationals

The 2009 Goodguys Nashville Nationals returned to LP Field in Nashville, Tennessee and packed the stadium parking lot with over 2,000 awesome hot rods and muscle cars through 1972-everything from high dollar rides to budget built customs. With the 1972 and earlier rule in effect, muscle cars had a large representation, but pre-1964 rods and customs were the majority of the show.

As in previous years, ESM was amazed by the amount of traditional street rods present, which shows (no pun intended) that traditional rods are not just confined to the great state of California! In addition to all the street rod era cars, ESM also ran into a lot of classic rides such as the popular 1955-57 Chevys which included fully restored to full blown custom representations.

The swap meet was held at the far east end of the show near the historic Shelby Street Bridge along with the Air Ride Technologies Street Challenge Autocross which was located adjacently to the swap meet. Despite the rising cost of fuel, plenty of vendors were on hand and very much part of the overall Goodguys show experience.

Goodguys puts on a well organized show... hands down. If you have never been to a Goodguys event we highly recommend you put them on your show calendar, for they truly stand and deliver. ESM anticipates Goodguys will hold an event in Nashville for many years to come and ESM will be present to photograph some of the hottest rides on the custom auto circuit!
